This error message can be issued while posting material document for materials with incomplete account determination configuration.

Resolution :

Use transaction code OBYC of follow the menu path in SPRO for configuring account determination.

Menu Path : SPRO --> Materials Management --> Valuation and Account assignment --> Account Determination --> Configure Automatic Postings
