QE181 : Characteristic results cannot be recorded for inspection lot
This message is issued if result recording is based on Characteristics and not activated in material master.
In QA32 when results are to be entered , this message is issued.
Note the status should be : REL CALC SPRQ.
Solution
To fix this issue , activate check characters in material master , Quality view for the inspection type.
